About Dr. Buenning
Dr. Buenning is a licensed psychologist who has been working in the mental health field for over 43 years. For more than 22 years he has successfully helped families whose children have RAD. He received his Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1984. During his work with RAD children, he has had marked success in teaching parents how to attach their child to themselves.
His current outpatient practice was recently relocated to Palo Alto, California. It consists almost entirely of working with parents and children with Reactive Attachment Disorder frequently in locations throughout the United States. Dr. Buenning also speaks nationally on bonding and attachment. Through his teaching of parents, he transforms the heart and soul of each child and creates a new life for families.
